No meat inside.About This Game A train ride to a new life! You have just arrived in Sun Haven… only to find it’s been struck by dark magic! With only a handful of money and some rusty tools in hand, it’s up to you to build the farm of your dreams. ![]() Decorate your house and farm area with tons of furniture items and themed decorations. Utilize over 40 unique crafting stations for smithing, baking, gifting, and even jewelry making. Share a farm and play with up to 8 friends online. All the placeholders are there and you will have access to the shell of everything. Tend to seasonal crops and flowers or focus on raising livestock and other fantastical animals. The game was slated to be a full fledged launch in May, but decided to make it early access at the last minute because they knew their game was only 15% finished. TL:dr: If this was $7-15 It would be easier to forgive the fact that the game is in SUPER early accesss, but it cost double the price of stardew valley, graveyard keeper, and other games that are finished and better. for the devs to hope modders to someday fix. The whole 7 different races being pushed so hard and finding out they are all just entirely. People on the hype train put a lot of words and plans into the future and the devs (very active) did nothing to quell the hype but to egg it on. If my tone seems a bit negative is because I spent months in the discord channel being fed " this will be better than stardew because its going to have _ and _ will be a gamechanger!" As of launch, none of that is in the game nor even planned. None of it is in good conscious as the fundamental game is barely at the stages of a 1998 Macromedia Shockwave southpark Save Kenny kind of level. Game will blackscreen/crash/autosave right before a hardcoded error/etc.Īnyone recommending this $25 game in the reviews are trying to recommend you THEIR dream Stardew Valley replacement. The NPCs don't have a set schedule nor set datapoints in which they should be acting to. There's no map because they dont even know how the layout of the world should be. The dialogue isnt even 10% finished where some NPCs legit give you placeholder text. This is a another cyberpunk2077 situation where the first wave of players are praising the premise of the game and not the game itself. its what the reviewer wished was in the game The #1 recommended review isnt even a fucking review. 95% of the positive reviews are judging their rating based on what they feel is going to be in the game and what they think will be in the game. but that just takes away from the day aspect as now you arent resource gated but how you can minimize RNG of NPC spawns.ĮDIT: The steam reviews at Very Positive is VERY misleading. They try to alleviate this shortfall by giving you infinite stamina. In Stardew, you can always do your chores first before running out and doing what you gotta do. You get such a short day to do specific things. All races are purely cosmetic and it's very time crunchy. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban. ![]() Please report posts containing spoilers unless they are hidden using the following method or are inside a thread clearly labeled as containing spoilers.
